There were comfy beds and iron/ironing board, coffee/tea makers and a work desk inside the room. The breakfast was marvellous, plenty of food. Besides, the location was stunning and quiet for our stay, within 25 minutes' walk of Cornwall Gold.

A beautiful hotel with elegant lounge, bar and dining room and the food was excellent. Spacious well equipped bedroom and bathroom. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists, Nigel in particular, and Helen in the bar. If we were to come to this area again would certainly choose to stay at Penventon Park and would recommend it. We stayed at various hotels during this holiday and it was better than the 4**** hotel which followed which makes us wonder why it only has three stars.
Whilst the bathroom was lovely the lighting could have been better.

A wonderful place for a few days' break, close to many good beaches, lovely walking country, plus lots of history in the area.
The toilet in our de-luxe room needed to be flushed twice each time to clear, and the bathroom plug mechanism did not work (we advised hotel Reception about this).

The hotel was first class and totally what we expected and wanted. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff and this made our week long stay very enjoyable. The hotel is situated in a location that was suited with our days out seeing various places of interest. The rooms were always kept spotless. The spa was out of this world. The food served in the resturant was rich in quality and prepared to a high standard. For my wife and l we could not have chosen better. The Penventon hotel video seen on youtube is a true likeness of what was available to us. We look forward to our next visit back.
The only complaint we have is that we should have stayed for two weeks instead of one week.

The room was comfortable and the hotel offers free wifi, the menu was varied and the food was excellent. Staff are exceedingly helpful.
the menu doesnt really cater for meagre business budgets.

Beds uncomfortable, food was not the best, service in resturant once seated was terrible, staff found it funny when I pointed out I had dirty plates , waited 5 minuites for a knife to have with food when fire alarm repeatedly went off at 1.30am not one member of staff went round hotel checking if residents were ok instead when I eventually !! went down there was a grumpy man trying to turn it off and didnt answer any questions ! turns out that someone had left a shower running no form of compensation or free drink or appology was given by hotel.

The Penventon offered a comfortable and spacious room equipped with a powerful shower and stylish bathroom. The well-decorated space included convenient amenities like a fridge and quality toiletries. The breakfast selection was excellent, with freshly.
The noise from nearby street traffic made it challenging to sleep.
